Bridge-type oil well pump

This pump adopts a special bridge structure to prevent deformation of barrel, suitable for deep well oil production with low liquid level and deeper pump hanging or more tail pipes hanging.

The depth of pump hanging is 500- 1500m deeper than the ordinary oil well pump.

The over-bridge type oil well pump is to build a stress bridge between the upper and lower couplings of the conventional pump (over-bridge pump outer pipe), and the pump barrel is fixed in the outer pipe by only one end, thus avoiding the force of the pump barrel Deformed.

The characteristic of the bridge-type oil pump is: in the layered mining, when the packer is set and unsealed, the setting force and unsealing force act on the bridge pipe, eliminating the packer sitting on the original pump barrel.

The sealing force and unsealing force can avoid adverse effects on the oil well pump, improve the verticality of the plunger, and avoid partial wear of the plunger and deformation of the pump barrel.

1)Anti-bending — special bridge type structure, the pump barrel is suspended inside the outer barrel, no pressure and no bending, which fundamentally solves the problem of setting bending of the pump when equipped with packer.

2)Anti-offset wears — because the pump barrel does not bend, the gap between the plunger and pump cylinder is even, which reduces the wear of plunger and pump cylinder due to bending, extends the service life of the pump, and improves the pump efficiency.

3)Leakage prevention — The gap loss equation of the pump shows that the pump’s relative eccentricity =0. The bridge structure prevents the loss caused by the eccentricity between the plunger and the pump barrel, reduces the gap loss, and improves the pump efficiency.

  1. The barrel and the outer pipe are floating connected.The pressure of the tubing string and the weight of the lower tail pipe of pump directly act on the tubing. The barrel does not bear the alternating force load during up and down strokes. The improved working conditions can extend the service life.
  2. Because the barrel is suspended, the internal and external pressure of the barrel is same during the pumping process which can reduce the amount of leakage.
